| Applications | Molybdenum trioxide is used to manufacture molybdenum metal, smoke suppressant polymers and specialty alloys and steel products. The largest application of POC is for manufacturing catalysts for hydrotreating, hydrodesulfurization and oxidation reactions in oil refining and polymer industries. It is increasingly used in manufacturing of Aerospace and Defence components. It also finds use in manufacturing thin films in flat panel display & thin film solar panels and for thermal spray applications. |
